New York City – Production Weekend

Earlier this month we spent a few days in New York City working on event photography and video for a product launch with our friends at Bray Creative. They are ridiculously talented and we thoroughly enjoy working with their team every time we get the chance. It’s always great to work with people who both inspire and challenge you creatively – and who you actually enjoy hanging out with in real life!

We spent most of our time in NYC inside our hotel (we were staying in the same space where the event launch was taking place) but our rooms had the most incredible skyline views!. This post is just a little goofy look into what our life looks like behind the scenes. Here’s Cody of Bray creative, taking photos of the view with his phone….

Great view right? I have no idea what Cody is taking photos of here…

Hanging out, importing, exporting, editing, etc in our hotel rooms…

The guys escaped the hotel for a little coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee while I was editing photos in the hotel room. (Don’t feel too bad for me, I escaped earlier that day to shoot this amazing engagement session while they were filming) Cheer up, Brandon.

And switching from DSLR to iphone… our view as we exited Penn Station with a cart full of equipment.

See? Working from hotel rooms is made so much better with incredible NYC skylines filling up your wall.

Thinking weaving through crowds in Manhattan and through Penn Station is difficult? Try it with all this equipment! Getting all of that equipment in taxis was quite the entertaining experience.

And just in case you thought that working on jobs in NYC made us sound cool, Here’s an awkward selfie to erase that from your mind…

Thanks for the great weekend, Bray Creative!
