Christmas Time

We had a great time this Christmas season. Dave and I spent a week in Charleston, SC over Christmas and spent time with my family. We hadn’t been all together since last Christmas so it was good to be together. I didn’t take too many photos of our week, but we did manage to take some nice family portraits in their sunny neighborhood. Have I mentioned how much I love their Spanish Moss? For the group shot I set us and the camera up and my cousin Noah took it for us. Thanks Noah!

We also spent a few days in Philly and saw our niece, Adelaide perform in the Nutcracker.(She’s the fourth one from the left) Preschoolers doing ballet – adorable.

Here is a shot of our living room with our little, skimpy, apartment-sized tree and other decorations. I made homemade scones for a group of girls who was coming over that morning and looking at these photos makes me think I need to make them again. Maybe today.

I love the Christmas season and was sad to see our decorations go away, but am excited for a new year and what it will bring.
