Friday Favorites: Volume One

camera-gearI’ve decided to start a little series known as Friday Favorites. What is a Friday Favorite? Pretty much anything loosely media related that we are currently loving. And for the first installment:

Friday Favorite #1 goes to: Plural Eyes 3. This wonderful program syncs all of your audio and video files with just about a click of a button. We were a little skeptical about how well it would really be able to synchronize so many files, but it’s like a dream. This program saved us so much time this week, so it’s definitely a favorite.

Friday Favorite #2 goes to the P-touch Label Maker. Yes, a label maker. We recently acquired one of these bad boys and labeled pretty much every piece of equipment we own. Batteries? Chargers? Lens Caps? Camera bodies? You bet they are labeled. No more wondering whose batteries are whose after a shoot with friends. An awesome little investment

Friday Favorite #3 goes to The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I read it two sittings, taking me around maybe 5 hours. I finished it last night, just in time for the movie to come out today! I can’t wait to see it. Dave, if you are reading this, a book and a movie are both media, okay? This is definitely a legitimate ‘Friday Favorite’. #tfios

Thanks for reading about our Friday Favorites! What are you loving right now? Any products that we should know about? Anyone else dying to see The Fault in Our Stars?

    • So good, right?? I definitely cried more in the book than the movie. I guess I just connected with the book more, but after reading the book, I really enjoyed the movie as well. I personally think that the book id more emotional, if that helps 🙂 I am kind of hoping that there is a sequel were she realizes that she is pregnant with Augustus’ child post book.

  1. I first saw some photos of the characters on Tumblr, and later saw the trailer, and later realized that this is a novel. I didn’t check much the reviews because some of them are spoilers, because just by the story I could tell this is worth reading. Must I prepare myself? for all the tears that could flow..

    • It’s such a sweet story. I would bring tissues just in case…I am crier, so I grabbed some napkins on the way into the theater. I would suggest reading the book too. It’s so good. I might have sobbed through the last half of the book. 🙂

  2. I’m obsessed with label makers! And I haven’t read The Fault in our Stars because I don’t like sad books. haha I’m lame, but it’s true.
