Seeing through lenses

We are beginning the long process of sifting through footage and transcribing interviews in the next couple of weeks and are excited about what we see. I wanted to share a few productions photos to get you all excited for the film and also share a bit of what we saw over our two weeks in Ethiopia. We spent most of our trip looking through a lens,  worried about things like lighting and composition. I am excited to re-watch interviews now that we are home and can just focus on listening to the people we interviewed, free of distractions. I cannot wait to being piecing the story together and watching it take form. We are so grateful for the dozens of people who willingly participated in filming, from the experts we interviewed to the street boys who helped us carry equipment.
