March. You came in like a lion with your ice storm and dreary temperatures and here you are now outside my window with buds and soft sunshine like a little lamb. Typical. Seriously though, I have been enjoying writing these posts every few weeks. The practice really makes my reflect on what has happened in over the course of a month and helps usher me into a new,fresh month. Anyways…March.
Making : Strides in growing my business and becoming a better business owner.
Cooking : Lots of soup – still waiting for spring.
Drinking : Red wine with great friends.
Reading : Not nearly enough this month.
Wanting : To buy some warm weather clothes.
Looking : Forward to heading to California next month!
Playing : Too many episodes of Friends. That show always has me laughing out loud.
Wasting : Too much time trying to think of an answer for this one.
Wishing : For a reason to use my passport.
Enjoying : The fact that my sister now only lives an hour from DC.
Waiting : Always. Sometimes it feels like our stage of life.
Liking : The morning sun streaming through my windows.
Wondering : What life will look like a year from now.
Loving : The community of women in my life.
Hoping : Time slows down a bit and we stay focused on the right things.
Needing : To take deep breaths and enjoy the journey.
Smelling : The ground thawing and the ‘spring’ smell emerging.
Wearing : My new slippers. I have grown strangely attached to them.
Noticing : How much I’ve loved ‘year 5’ of our marriage.
Knowing : God is good.
Thinking : About getting out my open-toed shoes this week! Time for a pedicure…
Feeling : A little anxious about the future, but mostly excited.
