Dave and I went up to Pittsburgh to visit his parents for Thanksgiving this year. My parents moved to Illinois this past summer, so this was the first holiday we have celebrated where our parents live in different states. It was strange not to be able to drive back and forth between homes, but also great to be able to be fully present with each of our families. We had a nice, quiet day with family and I, as usual, took a few portraits of my niece whenever she let me.
