On a snowy March morning that looked more like a scene from a classic Christmas movie than the first day of spring, I snuggled up by the fire in the warm home of the Wilder family. Though their home was beautifully decorated and a fire was cracking in the hearth, it was obvious that the true beauty and warmth in their home came from their genuine love for each other. The Wilder parents home school their children and it was so lovely to spend time with a family who truly loves being together and with parents who love teaching and nurturing their kids. I had a few flashbacks to my own childhood as the oldest of three and just loved seeing the parallels as the kids interacted with each other. Anyways, here is a little glimpse into what a regular day at the Wilder home looks like.
Wilder family – I hope these photos transport you back to this stage in your lives years later when these little feet belong to teenagers or when you these three have children of their own. Thank you for letting me share your home with you for one morning and capture these memories.
