As you may or may not have noticed, Internet in Ethiopia was quite spotty, and we had a rather hard time posting to our blog; however, have no fear, because we’re back, rested, and have stories to share.
First, we want to thank you for your prayers and support! The trip was full of life changing moments and beautiful stories. The video and photographs we collected during our time in Ethiopia can only provide a glimpse of our experience.
As we look back on our journal entries, we are overwhelmed with where to begin. We experienced Ethiopia from a variety of social classes – from the poorest of the poor to the affluent decision makers of the country. We experienced both city culture and life in the country, and we jumped at every opportunity to sip down some incredible Ethiopian coffee….
…all while making a film!
After 7 jam packed days of shooting, we came back confident we have a story to tell. In only a few months time, we will have a completed video, and we can’t wait to show you. In the mean time, Erica and I will fulfill our promise to blog about our trip. We hope to use the blog as a way to debrief the trip and give you a more in depth look at what the heck we were doing.
