Washington, DC is home to some of the coolest families. I’m convinced. Kelly and Virginia are two incredible artists who double as parents to their sweet son, Atticus. Last week they welcomed me into their ridiculously awesome loft in the heart of the city to come along on their Sunday morning family routine. They read and built puzzles together before breakfast, built some epic train track routes, and then ventured over to one of the city’s best children’s parks for some splash pad fun. I loved observing the way Kelly and Virginia interact with their son and seeing how adored he is by his parents. He is one very loved kid.

How cool is their space?? I really enjoyed getting to spend the morning with this fantastic family and feel so privileged to have been allowed this glimpse into their lives. This job is pretty awesome.
